Drawing Competition

“Drawing trains the hands and language trains the tongue” goes a famous Tamil adage. Keeping in line with this, DTMS arranges drawing competition for students in groups every year and awards prizes to the winners accordingly.

Cultural Drawing Competition

Every creature as small as the ants, enjoy the beauty of this creation. Tamil culture encourages women to draw pictures at house-front. With a view to encourage this traditional art form of the Tamil people, DTMS conducts ‘Kolam’ competitions every year and winners are awarded prizes.

Promoting Self-Employment

We invite individuals carrying on small business on their own during the annual function of DTMS and encourage them in their activities by giving them due publicity.

Future Plans

  • Provision of Ambulance service
  • Opening of a free reading library
  • Arranging for free legal counselling
  • Starting of free employment agency

Free Eye Check-Up Camps

DTMS organizes free Eye Check-up Camps. A large number of people get their eyes tested and free glasses are also provided to the persons requiring it. Many people avail of this benefit every year.

Providing School Fees

It is good to provide free meals by establishing hundreds of free eateries for the public. It is also good to build thousands of temples. But, it is much more good and beneficial to help needy children with financial assistance for education. Realizing this, DTMS, through well-wishers, arranges for payment of school fees for a whole academic year to the poor and needy children. The aim and idea behind this is to ensure that such needy children continue with their education smoothly.

Providing Books, School Uniforms, etc.

DTMS every year provides note books, school uniforms, geometry boxes, pens, pencils, etc. to the needy school going children. Many students avail of this benefit offered through DTMS during the annual function.

Awarding Cash Prizes to Toppers

Every year during the annual function DTMS gives away cash prizes and medallions to students who stood first in 10th and 12th government examinations.

Helping Differently-abled Persons

DTMS aids persons having mental/physical deficiencies by gifting them Wheel Chairs, Tri-Cycles, Walking Sticks, etc. The sponsors are invited on stage to offer these gifts directly to the needy persons, during the annual function.
